Merchants already ask Sidekick to "set up a bundle." Without a bundle app that exposes anything, it answers with generic manual steps. Solid Bundles ships real Sidekick extensions, so the assistant can see your bundle world and act in it, inside Shopify's own permission model. Here is what that looks like in practice.
"Why isn't my bundle showing on the product page?"
The classic support ticket, answered by the assistant in seconds. Sidekick checks the store's actual state through the app: is the offer active or paused, did the last sync error, is the whole store paused, is the widget block missing from the product template, and what the latest verification run found. You get the specific reason, not a checklist.
"How many complete Ritual Sets can I still build?"
Buildable-sets math from live component stock: the app computes how many complete kits your current inventory supports, per bundle, and Sidekick reports it. Useful the moment marketing asks "can we promise 500 gift sets for the campaign?"
"Did every bundle pass verification last night?"
Solid Bundles re-verifies every offer in every market automatically each night. Sidekick can pull the result: which offers passed, what failed and why. Your morning coffee question, answered where you already are.
"Create a 15% bundle from these three serums."
Sidekick opens Solid Bundles' editor pre-filled: your product hints resolved to real variants, the discount set, the title drafted. You review and press Save. The same works for quantity breaks, bought-together offers and build-a-box, and you can stage edits to an open offer conversationally, including pause and resume.
Nothing saves without you
| TIER | WHAT SIDEKICK CAN DO | WHO CONFIRMS |
|---|---|---|
| Read | Search offers, read configurations, buildable sets, verification results, visibility diagnosis | You activate the app per Sidekick conversation (Shopify's own consent) |
| Stage | Pre-fill a create form; stage title, discount, tier or status changes into an open editor | Nothing persists until you press Save in the app |
| Commit | Nothing. There is no path that writes to your store silently | By design |
Data tools are read-only as policy, not as configuration. The same discipline as the rest of the app: no write access to your inventory, no silent mutations, verifiable in the permission list.
Why almost no bundle app has this
Shopify opened the Sidekick extension rail to all developers in June 2026. Building on it means real engineering against a young platform, and most bundle apps have not touched it. Solid Bundles is, as far as we can verify, the first bundle app whose bundles Sidekick can draft, not just report on. Being early on the assistant rail matters: as Shopify moves further into assistant-driven admin, apps with clean extensions become the assistant's default reach for their category.
No configuration: install Solid Bundles and ask Sidekick about your bundles. Try "why isn't my bundle showing?" first; it is the one that usually earns the bookmark. Questions: [email protected].
